So although I ordered a "pizza cake" I know it wasn't a piece of cake to make! I called 4 other bakeries and they all turned down my request to do a realistic "Is it cake?" dessert for a 8 year old's birthday party. I don't blame the other bakeries, difficult request, but J's Bakery was the only one up for the challenge! They pulled it off and it tasted fantastic. Shout out to Kelly and Bree for helping make it happen, and all the other staff members who facilitated making this cake. Thank you all!

We’re from out of town and wanted a great cake for my mom’s 80th birthday celebration. Found J’s online and they did NOT disappoint! Fresh, delicious and beautiful. Cake Trifecta!!!

I paid $108 for 2 dozen cupcakes. I absolutely do not mind paying high prices if the product is worth it. I asked for them to be filled and the person I spoke to said “well, we put A LOT of icing on top.” So I said “ok cool, if you put a lot on top then we won’t do filled.” My friend picked up the order and brought them to my daughter’s birthday party. The top of the cupcake wasn’t even iced! They made the plumeria flower like I asked for but they definitely don’t use A LOT of icing if they don’t even cover the top of the cupcake. I would have paid extra for them to be filled! But I was told it wasn’t necessary. I emailed them about how angry I was to pay $108 for what I received. They never responded. I emailed again about their lack of response and still nothing. I gave them over a week to respond. I didn’t ask for anything; not a refund, not replacements. I just wanted the business to own their mistake, acknowledge the issue and apologize at the very least. I didn’t even get that. I bet a get a rude response on this review though because that seems to be how J’s does business.

Third time to go here, to see if product quality had improved. The service was good. Got coconut cake, chocolate cake, tirimisu and a few donuts. Both of the cakes were dry, maybe from a few days before? The frosting on both was a little bit 'hard', not soft and smooth. The tirimisu was dry and also seemed like it was old. The donuts were ok. Prices are high for the quality of products they sell.

First I called to see if they were open and had any danish and things. The woman who answered said “hello”, so I had to say hello is this J’s … she said yes ? Should have been my signal to avoid this place! … we went anyway and the young man at the counter was nice and receptive as we came in. We looked at the danish and it looked like it was being boxed/ frozen … we asked the guy if they were baked fresh and he didn’t know ? He asked a woman ( I am guessing who answered hello…) while she sat at a table behind the counter and decorating a cake. She said they were baked today! And kept decorating. We ordered 25 dollars worth of danish for a gathering. ….. OMG … stale to the point they were hard… the cheese danish were the worst of all. WOW! How this place stays open I can’t imagine. Never again!
